Our Book of the Month for November is “Curiosity: The Story of a Mars Rover.”
This book tells the story of the Curiosity rover (sent up in 2012)
from the point of view of the rover. This story follows the path from the
idea, to building/creation of the rover, to the mission on Mars and the
discoveries on the planet. The book has beautiful illustrations, interesting
text features, and makes a great link to the current Perseverance rover that landed on Mars in Feb 2021 and
has sent back some amazing images of the red planet. This book touches
on many different science, technology, and engineering themes while also
highlighting some beautiful literacy features!
