Happy New Year! I am excited to share that our Book of the Month for January is “If I Built A School" by Chris Van Dusen.
This book is another in the “If I Built..” series by Chris Van Dusen. The main character, Jack, tells his teacher Miss Jane all about his ideal school. The colorful illustrations, creative engineering, and fun/silly details included hook readers into thinking about all the amazing things they could do if they invented their own schools. Supporting a reader’s creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, engineering/technology, and fun… this tale can only spark awesome conversations about what the reader would include in their ideal school!
