The RPS April Book of the Month is the wonderful "Dinosaur Lady" by Linda Skeers, illustrated by Marta Álvarez Miguéns. This book is about the very FIRST paleontologist. Back in early 1800s, Mary Anning’s multiple discoveries were the beginning of a new field in science – paleontology. At that time, women were not allowed to be educated or engaged as scientists – but that didn’t stop Mary’s exploration and ongoing discoveries. She was a groundbreaking woman whose name doesn’t get enough credit in science history!
